G&L SB-2 aluminum pickguard (gandl)

Sign in to disble this ad
I received this pick guard when I bought the pictured body and didn't end up using it. it's apparently home-spun and has sort of a swirly, worn finish... hard to describe, but I can try to take some more pictures if there's interest. the body is a 1990 model. I don't have the screws.

$25 shipped to CONUS.

I have a white chandler SB-2 pickguard, if the aluminum is thick I can swap or buy.

If this was for a Fender Precision, I would have bought it immediately.

hey SandS, sorry I forgot about this till now. the thickness of the pickguard is just shy of 1/8 of an inch.

If I'm not mistaken, I'm pretty sure haystack got this from me. Long story short, this is a regular ol' GnL pickguard that my dad removed the original paint from because it was . . . err . . . heavily customized. I thought the bare metal looked pretty cool, so I didn't bother repainting it. Don't know if that helps, but adds info on the item.

hey Joe! yep, this is indeed the PG that was on the body you sold me a few months ago. been slowly working on building up that body... actually finished it up this weekend. it's paired to an '82 L-1000 neck and has a fresh new brown tort pick guard.
