SOLD!!! SOLD!!! SOLD!!!
This is a bit different from the usual bank of vertically oriented cooling fans you'd install in the back of your rack. If you've got an all tube head stuffed into a tight-fitting rack, this unit is golden! I had it mounted from the rear rails of my SKB rack to hover over my Mesa Bass 400+.
I found out about this unit after doing lots of Googl'ing, and then, luckily ran across a used one on eBay for a hell of a lot less than brand new! These fans do produce a bit of a whoosh (not really noticeable in your average noisy bar or large stage setup), but with a rating of 300 cfm, my Mesa never got anywhere near hot again!
To keep my rack tidy, I had the power cord shortened to just about 1 foot in length. The unit I'm selling has also got slightly bent rack ears, but is in otherwise excellent shape! $80 shipped anywhere in the lower 48.

I never noticed anything but effective cooling. I guess you could help things along by installing a cardboard "air dam" to direct the air flow more to your liking.
Peace!

I just know that there's someone out there with a rackmounted tube head that's needing some extra air circulated!

It's a single rack space high... one of the reasons I liked it in the first place!

Now we must get ready to start a new year... I'd like to start it by finding this puppy a new home!
Maybe you'd like to start it with a cooler rackmounted tube head?
Bump!
