Hipshot A bass bridge-50$-5 string

Sign in to disble this ad
I do not play 5 strings , good shape , all the screws are here (3 total). One of the allen heads to a saddle is a little stripped so i cant get it to fully move all the way down which i cant see you having the saddle totally flat anyways , a few little scratches other then that its nice.

Asking 50$ shipped CONUS.

This is a Hipshot A Style Bridge

This is not an ABM bridge it is a Hipshot A Style Bridge. The saddles are completely different, as is the overall footprint.

Do you know if this is a 18mm or 19mm or 17mm? Is there a model # besides Hipshot A? What bass did it come off of?

Not a 5 string player, never even owned one this bridge was in a parts package i bought.

Here are the specs.

I was told this is a BRASS one

which are 129$ , no idea of the spacing , if someone wants to tell me how to measure it I will, never measured a bridge.

can't tell by the photo, but is the finish satin? I don't see light reflecting like a shiny one would. If you were to measure the distance from the B string saddle (center the B and G string saddles first) to the G string, that would be one way to measure the width. 19mm would be 3" .....18mm would 2 7/8"

The finish is a satin like texture, not complete smooth, i dig the finish style.

The saddes are adjustable front to back and up and down , i think one screw on the G string one is a bit stripped tho.

I am going to measure it right now

sorry I meant the black thing that the string sits on they should move left-right thats why there is an extra lug, besides the height adjustment
