Hipshot Supertone bridge chrome 3-point

Sign in to disble this ad
For sale is an as-new Hipshot Supertone bridge for Gibson basses that use 3-point bridges. This is an awesome design for getting the sustain of a high-mass bridge on your Gibson without having to drill or modify your instrument.

I got it for my Ripper, but that bass is kind of an oddball, so the saddle height was all wrong and I had to take it off. This bridge has never been played except for the 5 minutes I spent figuring out it wasn't going to work.

Anyway, my loss your gain. I will sell it for $75 shipped to the CONUS. Thanks for looking!

I have one of these on my Epi T-Bird -- this is a MUST HAVE for the Epi bird. Really fantastic bridge.

All you guys playing Epi T-birds - jump on this...

What's the string spacing? I've got a mid 70's EB3 copy that I'm trying to restore and this may work if the spacing is right.

HUnt49: Thanks man! Yeah, this is a really beautiful piece of hardware. I was really sorry it didn't fit my bass.

72LML: I can measure the actual spacing and post it when I get home tonight. I think the mounting bolts will fit any standard 3-point bass.

You can also fine-tune the side-to-side string spacing on these so that they line up just right with the pickup poles.

Wait! I just found this from Hipshot's website. It has the actual string spacing and dimensions:

Measured the string spacing. It's about 11/16"

There's been some interest, but so far it's still available.
