Hipshot Ultralite 1/2" HB6C tuners (4ea) with Fender size ferrules

These are in damn near mint condition. I would rate them a 9/10....maybe a 9.5/10 for condition. These were taken from a Skyline JOBO 4. I am "blacking" out my Skyline hardware, so these are no longer needed.

One thing to note about size, I ordered a set of black 1/2" HB6C tuners. And yes, they fit my Lakland headstock just fine....but the washer/sleeve-nut pieces required for my Lakland are not the same size as to what you would get out of the box from a new HB6C set. The washer/sleeve hardware in a new HB6C set is larger in diameter than what comes with these tuners. By using a ruler, it looks like the o.d. for an off-the-shlef set of 1/2" HB6C tuners is 5/8". My Lakland required a smaller washer/sleeve stack....a ruler measurement put the i.d of my tuner hole at 19/32. The HB6C set requires an i.d hole of 5/8".

I called Hipshot about this since my new black tuners would not install correctly. Hipshot said the HB6C 1/2" set was the correct size tuners, but Lakland's hole size is different than what a stock HB6C 1/2" set would require. The hipshot rep said it was "Fender" size hole, what ever that means? They sent me a the correct size sleeves for $0!! How's that for CS!! I measured the the sleeves for these tuners, they aren't quite 5/8", and they're a tad bigger than 9/16". I guess they would be 19/32. I don't have a dial caliper here to get an accurate measurement. I can get one if it's a must. Where am I going with this.....please measure before committing.

I would assume if you wanted the tuners even though you might need the larger 5/8" washer/sleeve stack, I am pretty sure Hipshot will send you a set of washers/sleeves in the same fashion as they did me. But since I don't work there, I can't guarantee they will take care of you for $0 like they did me. If all I did was confuse you and all else has failed, give Hipshot a call to verify fit, they are great and always answer the phone. Just ask them if a set of 1/2" HB6C tuners taken from a Lakland Skyline will fit your bass.

$60 shipped
