I just replaced the stock stings on my Hofner Contemporary bass with flats. I BELIEVE these are Hofner brand rounds which are the same as Pyramids but I do not know. They seem like steel strings to me not nickel. They have green silks which is consistent with Pyramid/Hofner strings but again I have no idea what they put on here. Seems to be a good decent set of steel rounds. Short scale bass with a 2X2 tuner layout. Plenty of silk. Not used for more than two days and very sparingly. Essentially new. |
