Jazz Bass and Foundation bodies cheap projects

SX Essex ash jazz bass body. Good condition with extra pickguard holes and pickup cover holes and I think some bridge experimentation holes. A little additional weight reduction! Medium weight body with a nice grain. This is a good sounding, quality body for a low budget project

Another jazz bass body with a really wonderful top that again has some issues but maybe could be saved by someone with more skills and patience than me. This is a rear route, super light jazz body that is really beautiful. The wire channel route error can be covered with a pickguard. I messed up the bridge alignment and there is a wayward hole as show in pic. I tried to fill the hold with CA but it's only an ok job. Sand down the top, fill in the holes or refinish opaque for a lightweight ash body.
