I have a John East preamp for the Marcus Miller bass. Super easy install (no soldering required) and sounds absolutely KILLER. This is the version that comes already pre-mounted, so its drop in and play. You know how your Marcus sounds "OK" but doesn't really have enough "oomph"? The pre is only 2 months old and was barely used. I still have the box it came in! Only selling cause I just sold my Marcus and the buyer elected to have the original pre put back in.
