For Sale: Fender Classic Series 60's RI Jazz Bass Alder body...MIM.
I recently picked this up as a project but dont have the time to
finish it.
There is some surface scratching on the back of the bass along the
upper horn, There is a cresent shaped crack that I have attempted to
show in picture 3, about the size of the silver dollar edge, this is
in the finish only. There also appears to have been a second hole for
the strap button on the upper horn, as it has been filled and
blackened. This would be above the factory hole and covered by the
strap when worn. A major note on this 60's RI body is that there is NO
CHANNEL ROUTING UNDER THE PICKGUARD!! Haven't seen many like that.
Weighs about 5 pounds.
Also have a brand New Fender Tort guard, and Brand New Fender Control Plate.
