The guts of my KSD 4 string protoJ.

The pickups, the pre, and the pots. I am keeping the control plate.

Nice way to upgrade a cheap bass or build your own.

$99 for the whole shebang. Thats two pickups plus the pre plus the pots (one stacked, two not)

I have something in my sights and need to free funds.

No nibbles, huh? I'll toss in shipping in the CONUS as well as a set of new strings. (Name brand Flats. I dont recall the brand. I''ll check the box and post the brand later. )

I've got my eye on this thing here, so it'd fit my plan if one of you fine gents purchased this set.

To show my respect for TB-ers, I'll knock the price down to $XXXX if you just PM me and enter into some fair minded haggling.

5 bucks shipping, 20 bucks new flats, thats 75 bucks for a KSD pre, the pots, and BOTH pickups. hmmm.

I'll bite, thought don't use flats, too much tension. Heh. Do you happen to know the eq points of the Bass and Treble controls? Won't use Paypal, will send USPS money order on Monday. Oh, and bump! Also, are the pickups humbucking or single coil? I can't remember. Do you have pics? Wanna know if it'll drop right into a 4 hole Jazz plate.

I'll answer all questions when I go home this evening. If you dont like flats or dont want them, I'll keep em and just knock the price down 20 bucks. SO, no flats and its 80 shipped CONUS.

They are definitley single coil. the pre is very small, and will fit in a standard route. I am keeping the physical metallic control plate, but you get the pots to go with the pu's and the PRE.

The p/u's look to be standard size, but let's be sure. I'll measure them and post it here. For the EQ points, I looked here http://www.kensmithbasses.com/KSD/KSDdefault.htm

and here www.brooklyngear.com and pulled up the spec sheet. The center for the EQ isnt listed.
