i thought i'd try switching to flats, and after an hour of play time, they're coming off. just not my thing i guess. they are labella "deep talkin' bass" strings (4 string set), guages .043 - .104. first $35 gets them. |

Both of those flatwound strings will help you with your right hand plucking technique. It helped me get used to playing with a much lighter touch. And dude....when you play them with a drummer, everything sounds and feels so much better.
If you haven't played them with a band, you don't know what your missing, I promise you, it'a killer feeling being right there in the mix with flats. Emphasis on the IN the mix.
