Lane Poor J sets and various HB/SB sets!

Sign in to disble this ad
Hey guys,

Trying to pare down my collection as by the looks of it I won't get around to using any of it anytime in the distant future.

I have:

-3 sets of J pickups, NOS. $200 a set (Two sets left)
-1 set of used J pickups, $150 set
-2x J bridge pickups, used, $85 each (One left)
-1 set 6-string J pickups, NOS, $450 OBO (will get dimensions)
-1 set 6-string Modulus soaps, EMG-sized, used, $220 (one SB, one JB, I believe, but I'll double check)
-1 set 4.650" SBs, NOS- impossible to find in this size! Purchased from maker. $500 (I paid a lot more than that.)
-1x P-bass pickup, NOS, $175 SOLD

I'll take offers, but unless otherwise noted, prices pretty firm. I'm not looking for trades, please (unless you have MM pickups!).

I think I also have a set or two of 4.500s if interested. I also have an extra 4.250JB.

Let me know!

I actually have about 5-6 times this amount of stuff- I'm just never going to use all of it, though. I'll end up using about 3-4 more sets that I have currently and will be getting rid of the rest as I get up the nerve to do so. Once the instruments I'm waiting for arrive I won't be buying anything until probably the next decade, so I don't know if keeping the pickups around makes sense!

So sorry for the delay in replies lately- tons of work and a bunch of power outages due to the rainstorms here in the Bay Area.

Oh! and I just found some extra 4 and 5 string pickups! If I remember correctly, they are 3.950JB and 4.250JBs. I think I also have a 4.500JB. I don't use JB's, so they're all up for grabs. I'll decide prices later, but let me know if you are interested.

Angus, do you have one M4.0N or M4.0W (either model) that you're willing to sell?

No M4.0s, unfortunately!

I do have a set of M4.500s, though. SB and J, I think.

Pictures and price updates! More pickups to come soon, too!

Jazz Long (JL) set: jazz pickups for 5/6 string. (19mm-spaced 6 string might be a bit too wide for the pickup, though.) These are extremely rare to find, new or used, and these are NOS. They come in the original box and packaging. $280, shipped in CONUS.

Standard jazz set, with a brand new neck pickup and mildly used bridge pickup- $170 shipped in CONUS. The neck is NOS, and the bridge has only a bit of use on it. They are a proper matching set, though. They also come in the neck pickup's original box.

JB 3.950". Another NOS pickup in original box. Never used or installed. It is a J pickup in a humbucker/soapbar housing. Intended for 4 string or 5 string. $150 shipped in CONUS.

JB 4.500". Same as the pickup above, but intended for wide-5 string or narrow/wide 6-string applications. Pickup is also NOS and has never been installed, and comes in the original box. $185 shipped in CONUS.

I wish I did, too! I do have one 3.5" J in a soapbar casing, but not a set.

Can you tell me what the dimensions on the 3.95's are? (I assume 3.95 length but what is the width?)
