Loaded MIM Jazz Body

Let me get this out of the way first: this is a player's body off a 1997 MIM Jazz, so it has the expected wear and issues that a bass of that age would have. Along with that, it has the narrow bridge pickup, so replacement pickups will be fun if you want anything other than Barts. This was a fretless that I took the neck off to use on another project. The neck was in by far the worst shape of the whole instrument. What this does have is:
  • Sunburst finish
  • All hardware intact (though the bridge saddles are on another bass right now and will be coming off and going back on this)
  • Strat-style knobs (with numbering)
  • Fully functional electronics
  • Lots of 'character'

Add a neck of your choice and you've got yourself a bass. Or do what you will with this and have a fun project to fill your time. Pics: http://s1269.photobucket.com/albums/...%20for%20sale/

I'll let this go for $165 shipped ConUS, and please add 2 weeks shipping time since I have to get a new set of saddles or bridge for the other bass mentioned in the bullets above.

$165 shipped

How heavy is the body?
A rough guestimate is ok, too.

I'll see if I can figure it out, but you did see I'm only shipping ConUS, right?

It was a thought. Rates to Canada are comparable.
