Loaded Squier Classic Vibe Jazz Body

1 Attachment(s)
I got this a couple months ago or so from a fellow tb'er. I had big plans for a fretless maple neck, ultralites, and chromes to make it into my main fretless. I never got around to it, and now I'm needing to get some other music related purchases made. I gotta let this go. I hate to do it, but I'm offering this for $150 shipped CONUS.

The body is bone stock, fully loaded, all original, and unmodified. There is some playing wear, but its very light. The body is not abused or beat up in any way. I can take some better pics in the sunlight, but for right now, the pic I have will get the job done.

The body will ship inside of a well padded inexpensive gig bag, and packed very well in a box.

All you need is a neck, neck plate/screws, tuners, and strings and youre ready to rock. I actually probably have an old neck plate somewhere I can throw in if you want.

Make an offer, I may not take it, but you never know.

I'm only interested in trades for digital pianos, 5 string jazz pickups that will fit a Warwick thumb 5 (both pickups have to be the same length), partial trades for brand new sets of strings, or maybe some on board preamps.

Cash is king, and if your trade isn't a piano or pickups for my Warwick I'm probably gonna say no, but I added to a few things to my trade list just in case someone has a good trade I can't refuse.

Thanks!!

I will also consider trades for a decent octave pedal

What type of wood is this body made from?

WillieB 03-04-2013 08:44 AM

I think they are basswood ... if I may chime in. Op correct me if I'm wrong.

I'm pretty sure you're right, it's basswood. I just checked the Squier website, and it doesn't say.

I've had several excellent offers, with some still on the table. The body is still available as of 8:30am this morning. I'm needing a set of jazz bass pickups that will fit my Warwick Thumb BO 5. The pickups both need to be the same size, or "long" they are commonly referred to. That means both the bridge and middle pickups are the same size as the bridge pickup on a typical jazz bass. I also have two other basses that take the "short" jazz bass pickups in both positions, which is the middle pickup on a typical jazz bass. So either way, long or short, I'm needing a set of pickups the same length. Preferably long. Also, preferably with rail, or bar magnets. Pics are on the way!
