Post Loaded Warmoth 1-piece swamp-ash Nordstrand MM4.2/bart pre $300

Sign in to disble this ad

This was the Bass that Nino Valenti said was his favorite at the New England GTG.

This bass (body) has never been gigged.
The MM sound is just not working for me in my currently project and that is the reason why I'm sealing this body.
I'm using the neck elsewhere.

I stained with 12 coats of Ebony stain over the course of one week. Each coat completely dried and I did a very, very light wet sand.

It was put together from Jon Mouradian from Mourdian Guitar
http://www.mouradianguitar.com/

This loaded body is made up of and the prices of what is into it not including shipping, staining, straplocks or the assembly comes to $513

Warmoth 1 piece Swamp Ash body ($220)
Nordstrand MM4.2 ($108)
Bartolini NTBT (thats the 2 band $115)
Schaller 463 bridge ($70)
Schaller staplocks buttons (a full set is $18)

My price to you shipped to the lower 48 only
$300 (firm)

The only and only trade I would be interested in this time would be very specifically a "Radial JDV Mk3".

Thanks for looking

I will get back to you on that.

I know its on the lighter sides since its 1-piece and swamp ash.

Neck Pocket question on PM

Yes a standard 2.5 will work...

Its is a Jazz body from Warmoth so any stanard Fender style should fit.

I had a Moses neck on this bass.

Just a heads up...This bass went to the GTG and 2 rehersals, thats it there is NO TIME on this. I'm just not MM type of guy.

Old school bathroom scale says 5.5 lbs loaded (pre, bridge, pickup, straplocks buttons, knobs)

So 5 lbs 8 Oz

Tony Levin Bump

Tony says 'Don't be like this guy who is a J-bass addict this week.

Here is how to get into a high end MM style bass for very little money.
Bolt a neck and away you go.

Stay Low and Go.'

Thanks J

Its actually sounds killer and I was going to keep it for kicks.

However I made a promise to myself that if it is not gigged in a working situation I have to find a new home for it. In other words no more hording...LOL

PS:Ssshh... I think Sadie will like it

The neck is being used eleswhere.

However I have a killer Warmoth J neck Paduck with Ebony and stainless fretwire with Schaller tuners and cut nut that could be bolted right on ready to go. I'm only plan on moving from this neck because I'm pretty much only going with graphite necks from here on in.

I cannot do a pic for a couple of days however it sounds like you a looking for a complete bass...I can do the neck and with a SKB style fender case for another $300 shipped with that body firm. (no trades please).

That neck alone with the nut and fretwire minus the installed Schaller tuners is 350 from Warmoth before shipping.

Bump for a wicked good dude, as we say around these parts. This is a total steal-for around $550 spent in this forum, you could have a one of a kind monster bass.

Thanks N, I appreciate it...

My philosophy is I don't mind taking a little bit of a loss if If I learned what works for me. Not to mention it pass the positive karma around.

Here it is on a body (ready to come off that body which I'm keeping).

My camera finally kick the bucket so these are from my phone (hence the quality).
