Lots of flats for trade - Fender, Rotosound

Sign in to disble this ad
Hi guys -
I have a bunch of packs of flatwounds (and 1 roundwound) here for some trades. I love flats, but I have pretty small hands and have realized that I need pretty light gauges. When I need to do a 4 or 5 fret stretch, I just don't have the strength in my pinky or overly stretched ring finger to cleanly fret a heavier gauge string with higher tension. So - here is what I have.

3 sets of Fender 9050M (.55-.105) 4 string sets - NIP (1 gone)

1 set of Fender 9050M (.55-.105) 4 String set - has been opened and put on my Jazz bass for about an hour, then taken off and wrapped back in original packaging.

1 Set of Rotosound Jazz Bass 77 Long Scale (.45-.105) - opened and put on my Jazz for about 20 minutes. Too clanky for me. Perfect for you Steve Harris, metally fans. Wrapped back up in original packaging.

1 Set of Rotosound TruBass 88 (.65 - .115) black nylon. was on my MIM P bass that I sold. Has about 15 to 20 hours of play time. Silks at tuner end are unwrapped a bit but strings are still in great shape. (these sound awesome with a bit of sponge stuck under 'em. Great thumpy stand-up sound. I won't be crushed if no one wants these)

1 set of Adamas Phospher Bronze Acoustic Bass (.040 - .100) - NIP

Looking for D'addario Chromes (Light or medium gauge), 1 set of short scale flats, a black P bass guard and a black Jazz guard. I will accept lightly used strings for my very lightly used strings, but the quality needs to be similar. I would also maybe do 2 used sets for a new set, or higher quality used for a new set. Just send me your offers and we'll work something out

I like a bit of chew in my string tension, so if you have a lighter gauge flatwound suggestion, let me know

I don't want to put a cash value on used strings. I'm just really looking for trades.
Thanks

I have more than enough offers for roundwound trades so I don't need anymore. Still interested in Chromes (new or used), Fender 9050L, or other lighter gauge flats.

also still looking for a black Jazz and Precision pickguard and now a tort P pickguard too.

I have a four-string set of Chromes cut for a 2x2 headstock that I'd trade if you're interested in them for your short-scale. The G is cut just barely too short to use on a 34" scale bass. I'm not sure what the gauges are, but I think they might be the 50-105 set.
