Our band uses one of these to record (6 tracks) of our rehearsals and it is an absolute no-brainer to use: Update the drivers on your computer and off you go.
We have used it successfully as an interface for Ableton (a rather pointless 2-track version came with our 8 track interface ). Now we just use it with Garage Band recording 6 discrete tracks. Works like a charm!
