I have a stunning SX maple neck with white blocks and binding for sale. It is is from an SX SJB Jazz model.
It will need a nut, and the Graph Tech nut has been a drop in replacement for several SX owners here on Talkbass:

Also it appears that when the previous nut was removed or being added when new from the factory, the finish and possibly some wood above the nut slot started to crack. I have a photo which accurately represents the view of the slot from the headstock.
