PRICE DROP!
This is a 2010 USA fender highway one jazz bass neck. barely used! I put Hipshot HB7 tuners on it which are lighter and WAAAY better than the stock tuners. They have a better gear ratio and turn smoother. the nut is a tusq jazz nut. The pics aren't awesome but they work.
$299 shipped in USA! Paypal preferred. MORE PICS HERE

with these nice hipshots i put on this neck it's the next best thing and cheaper. |

Is the nut a factory nut or perhaps factory upgrade, or is it an after market upgrade? If aftermarket, was it professionally installed and filed to spec?
Also, had there been any fretwork done? Leveling, crowning, polishing?
Lastly, is it possible to get some more closeup pics that show back of neck serial # and base (butt?) of neck markings? I am not doubting or challenging authenticity, more just curious.
It looks like a very nice neck! |

The nut is a tusq brand precut nut. It's an upgrade. I fit it myself. I actually am a certified fender tech (not a big deal but I'm no beginner )
I did touch up the 18-20 frets. Every fender I have had needs this at some point. I stand by the work so if it is not functional for you I will refund. This is done to allow for minimal buzz all up and down the neck. I'm sure you know what I mean. The date on the end of the neck is oct 2010. So I got it at a couple months old! If you are seriously interested I can get more pics but I am pretty busy this week.

Brand new American made Fender neck, with very nice tuner and nut upgrades, being sold by a certified Fender tech who has installed the nut himself and inspected and touched up the frets as well. And he has offered money back if the seller is not happy. Plus he has an excellent feedback rating over many transactions here on TB.
In my somewhat limited experience buying basses and necks, I have found problems with frets needing to be leveled, nuts that were not properly installed or not filed well, and necks that were warped beyond repair. All of these areas have been addressed with this neck, and are, as a result, now non-factors with this neck. Talk about buy with confidence!
All I can say is that I wish I had the money, because this is clearly one very sweet deal!
And I promise, I have no affiliation with the seller or the sale itself. Just trying to help a really good deal along! Somebody is going to be very happy with this neck!
Last question I had is this: what size are the frets themselves? Medium jumbo, or more thin vintage style (my personal favorite).
I'll keep an eye on this sale in case I can somehow come up with the money... |

Even though they are a lousy investment since the re-sale typically does not come close to the build cost, the upgrades often result in a bass that plays and sounds so much better than stock. |
