The strings are comitted,, but for reference only, I find the MTD strings to be right in the middle between DR High beams and DR Low riders both on stainless. They are round core with some stiffness to it. I specially love the B string taper core.
Overall , it brings the punchiness on any bass, and they slap beautifully. I have used them on a TRBJP and TRBJP2 with great results.

I believe the store I got them from, might have some more in stock (sale) If you are up for it, I could ask if the carry more.
