New 5 string bass neck!!

Sign in to disble this ad
I have a new 5 string neck available. I bought this neck from Reverend a few years ago-- it was left over after they stopped making basses and had been originally intended for a Reverend Brad Houser bass. It is brand new and ready for your project!

It has a rosewood board on an aluminum-reinforced maple neck, stained vintage yellow. Scale length = 35". The rosewood fingerboard has rolled edges for a broken-in feel. It is 1.75" at the nut and 3" at the 22nd fret. The uncut nut is graphite.

I'm trying to raise money to put together a bass rig, so feel free to suggest trades, particularly for small bass cabs.

$175 plus shipping. You won't find a neck this nice for anywhere near this price.

Thanks for looking!

Who made it, what's it made of, what's the scale length, what's the nut width, what's the radius, what's the neck profile, are there graphite or metal stiffeners, etc. etc.

probably not. I had one of these necks and had to have it cut down to fit the pocket on my 5L

matrok-- you cut down the neck rather than widening the pocket?

I was cutting down the neck anyway. wanted something slimmer than the regular 5L. plus I would never do that to a Rev body

Cool. It is an unusually wide neck, but some people like the spacing for slap. Personally, I can't get used to anything more than 4 strings!
