NEW Jazz Tort Guard (Fender Replacement)

Sign in to disble this ad
Here is a brand new tort guard for fender Jazz I bought from Fender. I originally said this came from All-Parts. That's wrong...My bad...This is came from Fender. I bought it sometime ago. Still has the plastic on it too.

We used to use these all the time for the Buscanti Newport bass builds. But lately I've started to outsource for customized ones from Chandler because the buyers now all want something different.

So here it is. I'll let this one go for only $29 shipped CONUS. PayPal preferred. But I'll accept checks from anyone with at least one positive feedback rating. Now that's a deal!!!

But that's not all....I'm also going to throw in a white jazz pickguard for free. That's right. Buy the tort for $29 and get the white one for NADA....Bass Dudes...Does it get any better than this???

they will but some of the screw holes won't align
which means you have to make new ones

That may be the case. I went back and clarified my original listing. The Tort is a Fender issed replacement product. The free white one is from allparts.

Now, coverage wise this is supposed to fit over the bass pickup and it is supposed to fit over the neck pocket. In otherwords, you should not see any exposed holes from your current pickguard.

Now I have heard from a few here and there that even the Fender issued replacements do not line up exactly with each hole. If that happens you can easily fill the holes made for the old pick guard with wood putty or a shunt, let it dry and then put on the new guard.

That's all...Jazz

yep

considering that any old or standard holes were going to be covered up anyway I personally didn't pay much mind when I made the mods to my own bass
