| New Loaded Warmoth Thunderbird Body Price = $675 shipped to CONUS (firm)
You can search the prior threads I started on my original "Fenderbird" project. I built a dream Fenderbird that ended up just not being for me. This is the body I had assembled by a professional luthier (DJ Parsons in Watertown, MA). All parts were new in 2012 and are top of the line. There is literally under 6 hours of play time on this (everyone says it, however this is the case...). Was drilled for 3-hole Fender neckplate, but a standard 4-hole plate should conceal any prior holes.
Warmoth Transparent Red Mahogany with Raised Center Block: $550
Hipshot A Bridge: $100
EMG PJX & EMG Pre-Amp: $250
Warmoth Pearlized White Pickguard: $40
Miscellaneous Parts (black strap pins and Schaeller strap locks, black electrosocket input jack, double 9v battery boxes, Fender ferrules): $90-$100
Luthier's Assembly Fee: $300
My loss = your opportunity for a beautiful bass. Parts alone were $1000, not even factoring professional assembly by luthier. Thank you for your interest. |
