Nice Precision Bass Neck - Fender/Squier MIM?

I removed this neck from a project bass that I bought mostly for the body and electronics. The strange thing about it is that it's got a Fender headstock decal along with a MZ serial number, although it also states 'Made in USA' underneath the 'Precision Bass' decal... and the front of the headstock has been clear-coated or lacquered to forever preserve this mishmash of decals!
It measures 1 5/8" at the nut and 2 1/2" at the heel. There are no stampings or markings on the back of the neck or around the heel. It has no skunk stripe on the back. It may indeed be a Fender neck, but it may be a Squier or off-brand licensed copy neck -- I just don't have enough experience with what exactly to look for to make a solid determination. Feel free to leave information in this thread if you can assist me.
It was a very nice-playing neck when I removed it. Very nice wood grain and detail on the headstock as well as along the length of the back of the neck. The rosewood fretboard is rather pretty as well. Good relief, and I checked that the truss nut was free and operational. There are a few small impressions/dings on the front and side of the fretboard but nothing that would easily photograph. The back of the neck is smooth and clean from any damage. The fret edges are well-dressed and smooth. Standard 11/16" tuner bushing holes. No hardware included.
I'm asking $80 shipped via USPS Parcel Post with Delivery Confirmation and Insurance.
