I have the neck left over. It has seen better days. It is "road worn." Lots of dings. Neck looks straight, but when I got the bass, it was strung E-A-Banjo string. I never played it. Are the frets worn? They look okay, but I don't know. The truss rid cover is missing. A tuning head is missing. The machine seems to work. Do the other three work? Heck yeah. Do they work well? Hmmm...don't know. Is it ugly? A little bit.
