Nordstrand 2-band preamp and control plate
 

Nordstrand 2B-4c 2-band preamp in great condition, on a jazz control plate, chrome with vintage Fender style knobs.

The knob layout is:
- Volume (pull passive)
- Blend
- Passive Tone
- Treble/Bass Stack

Treble is +/- 12 dB@4KHz
Bass is +/- 12 dB@50Hz
Overall Gain is +/- 10db by a trim pot on the circuit board.
This lets you match your active volume to your passive volume, or drive your amp hard.

Great, high quality preamp with a passive mode and a passive tone control (VTC, which works in both passive and active modes). Very usable controls, with a wide tonal range that sounds organic and can get aggressive.
I'm only selling because it came in a Nordy I just bought, and I'm replacing it with the 3-band.
