Nordstrand 6-str. Big Splits with BEM covers, matching knobs, Aguilar obp-3preamp

Sign in to disble this ad
gone pending the usual.

These came off my Roscoe Century Signature as I prefer the Roscoe bart mics and demeter/glock over aggie to go with the barts.

The pickups fit the bartonlini 6-string soapbar footprint perfectly. They have a very super-jazz thing going on, and have excellent slap tone too. The Aguilar OBP-3 pre-amp has tons of thunder, and the powerful bottom end helps the j-type vibe of the pickups to no end.

Edited to add: It's the 4-pot configuration with stacked bass and treble. Has 18 dB of boost and cut and runs on 18v. Will put up a pic of the pre-amp pronto, but it's just a small black cube, you know? It's what's shown on their http://www.aguilaramp.com/products_preamps_obp3.htm website.

The woodwork is custom made and the grain is incredible 'in the flesh' and is of very, very, high quality.

Everything is in mint condition.

I'm looking for about USD280 which I think is reasonable considering the amount of custom woodwork? I'd happily ship anywhere.

No couldn't resist. I have a real pretty Birdseye neck blank and Fingerboard. Now just have to find the right customer.

These were exactly what I've been waiting for... guess I should do more checking the classifieds and less waiting.

At least I know they'll end up in a very nice instrument.
