Doesn't look like they are wired either parallel or series in those pics.

True. But I think he got a bit misguided From the commercial
series /parallel thing you find on Nordstrand Dealers.

The right question would be If They are

*WIRED/thought/optimized* For series , or parallel thing.

It's barely the number of the Wires /winding.
Usually for what i read they are optimized for parallel thing.

I'm sure you know but that can help antontanzil and others to know .

If they are 18 spacing they were custom ordered that way standard Nordstrand spacing on 4 and 5string pups is 19.

The bartolini are bigger than the Nordstrand pickups. As I mention in the thread, they are original Roscoe LG3005 pickups.

True, but from what I've heard even the 19 mm will work with 18 mm spacing at the bridge. I just sent a query at the nordstrand website to find out for sure tho.

So, what he said... are they standard or custom?

If the pickups are out of a stock Roscoe 5 string, they are 18.5 spacing. There are some special orders Roscoe basses with 19mm spacing like mine, but it cost extra. Roscoe uses a Bart P4 style pickup in both the 5 and 6 string basses.

Stock Roscoe spacing

4 string 19mm
5 string 18.5mm
6 string 18.3mm

Sorry for not replying but have been away.
Anyway, Crashclint is correct with the dimension of
the Bartolini soapbars.
