Nordstrand MM 4.4 Stingray Pickup - Quad-Coil

Sign in to disble this ad
This is a versatile, great sounding pickup. I actually wound up with two and don't need this one anymore i am keeping the other for sure! it can be wired many ways-I had it with a 3 way switch for neck/both/bridge sounds. the bridge sound is fat and jaco-ish, not weak at all. the neck coil sound is kind of like a pbass and it reminds me of a Burns Bison bass. and with both coils on it sounds like a stingray. and the best thing is that all these are humbucking! i think it would be cool to try this with volumes for each coil so you can blend them a bit.

I had to file the bottom edge to make the case shorter when installed-my pickup rout is really shallow. I also put a notch in a corner so that the fat wire can pass under the pickup.
If you go to Nordstrand's site you can read the details:http://www.nordstrandpickups.com/bass-pickups/modern/

There are scratches on the cover and such-little scratches on the sides. The lead wire extends 6" beyond the edge of the cover-so plenty for most situations.

comes with box, screws (untouched) and wiring instructions.

SOLD PENDING PAYMENT
i accept paypal and i'd like to sell this soon...
