After recently tinkering with the idea of converting my reverse P-J back to original, I discovered two things:
- One, I like it better reversed
- Two, I don't like the Brown Tortoise shell look on that bass
So, I have for sale two Brown Tort PGs for an NYC Sadowsky PJ five string. One in conventional PJ and another in reverse. They are brand new -- custom cut for me by Chandler (Pickgaurd Heaven). Chandler is the OEM for Sadowsky PGs. The reverse doesn't even have the film removed. The film has been removed from the standard.
One note, the truss access is not cut in these PGs. Which actually a good thing. Some Sadowsky basses have a channel and conventional nut, others have a spoke wheel. You can trim the PG to match your bass.
My PJ5 is a 2002. In order to match fit, please remove your current PG and check the template # on the bottom. If there is no #, you are also welcome to mail me a tracing, and I can see if it matches up before you buy.
These are $54 plus $12 shipping from Chandler. I will ship for $40 each.
Lastly I have a CLEAR jazz PG that fits my NYC 2003 J5. It's in fine shape, I just don't care for the clear look with a control plate. $35 shipped.
