OLC Flipster (Ampeg SB12 in a pedal) overdrive

Sign in to disble this ad
For those that aren't familiar with it, the OLC Flipster is a semi-DIY kit pedal designed after the Ampeg SB12 tube amp, using FET transistors instead of tubes. Here's the web page: http://olcircuits.com/olc_flipster.html
Note our own James Hart's audio clips there!

This one is completely built and painted (I'll include screws and little rubber feet for the bottom) however it needs troubleshooting. I finished it like a year ago, and just haven't had time to futz with dialing in the transistor bias and ironing out all bugs. Especially since I got a REDDI, I haven't had any motivation to finish up this tube emulator. So it may just need some patient biasing with the little trim pots, or it may need other small fixes, I don't know and I haven't got free time to dig in and find out. It's in clean shape, just one small ding in the paint. I'll include all the kit documentation, schematics etc.

How about $70 shipped in the US, or $75 shipped anywhere else. The only trade I'd be into for this is a compressor I haven't reviewed yet.
Thanx!

I got a bag of them from an old radio-parts collector.

The pedal is now sold pending payment!

Can you ask your Grandpa if he'll sell me his cardigan then?
