I bought up a bunch of these when the new formula came to market, but now I need some dough, so I'm selling most of my stockpile. Three factory sealed sets available, $15 shipped per set in USA.

The ones I have were manufactured by FMIC. The new ones have been outsourced to an undisclosed manufacturer - many here have speculated they're rebranded D'Addario. I haven't played the new ones, but these sets are very warm tonally and have hex cores. Hope that helps!

Just to add, I used to buy these and just bought the new formula, and was disappointed. They seem rougher, don't have silk ends, and feel like a bit lower quality in general. Pretty much the same sound but feel and look suffered.

Thanks for the testimonial, recreate.me! Would you like to buy some strings?

haha I really was thinking about it! The reason I know all about the new formula strings is because i just picked up a set for my Jazz, unfortunately, as much as they suck I did pay 22$ or something like that for them and i can't justify buying more for at least 6 months when these need replacements haha

I dont have the money to just buy strings cause they are on sale lol I also have a Bronco project that i suspect will need SS strings when the mods are complete. Sorry

All good, I understand all too well having to pay the bills, that's why I'm selling these off!
