I don't doubt for a second that this is worth the price, but the price you quoted on the Duncan is mistaken or something. Bills Music sells the SMB-4A for $84.70 with a list price of $121. The real deal is definitely, as always, worth more.

Yes- I have been confused on that one. I looked hard and saw some SD's that were 2 coils like the Stingray and some three coil types as substitutes for the Sterlings which is what this one is. SD sells is the SMB-4a at different prices. I thought it was the higher one. In any regard, my price is still the same. And yes, the real McCoy is better than the copy.
