I'm using the neck that was on this body for a DarkStar build and I'm looking to replace it with a sea foam/surf green body. I'm not sure what sort of body it is, but it could be a squier. It was NOS sitting around at a local music store.
It is super light and made for a rockin' P bass that looked like this:

clearly it's got some extra holes that I filled with wood putty and painted over with a black paint pen. None of them were visible with the pickguard on. It's also got some finish swirls that could probably be buffed out with some elbow grease.
I like that it's light and resonant, and I was going to paint it myself, but despite my DIY nature I have to admit that I have no facility with refinishing.
