I ground out a bit of the control cavity to fit some larger control pots. One of the walls of the control cavity is a bit rough due to the grinding job, but otherwise it's in pretty decent shape. You can't see it with the cover on. I had a Fender neck on it and it fit fine. Nice and tight.

Hey just so you know that is a korean made squier II body probably from around 1989
