I have what looks to be a 1998 or 1999 Fender Mexican Jazz 5'ver that I got locally and did some minor repairs on.
I am selling the neck, body separately. Also have some 5 string single coil pickups for sale.
Body: Alder, black finish with some surface scratches/ player mojo.
No scale, not sure of the weight. I'd say on the heavy side.
The body has a string through B that was done recently. It really helps with the stock inline tuner being closer to the nut than the 4 + 1 design headstocks. (You can use any brand B string and it won't be too long) THE STOCK BRIDGE IS NOT A STRING THROUGH TYPE. YOU NEED TO USE A HIPSHOT A-STYLE BRIDGE TO FACILITATE THE STRING THROUGH B. (I have a Hipshot bridge available as an upcharge)
Body only, unloaded. NO bridge, No plate, just pickguard only. $125 shipped CON US.
Body plus STOCK Fender bridge, BLANK control plate with NO pots or knobs : $150.00 shipped
Body plus A style Hipshot brass bridge, blank plate: $200
Body plus stock bridge, blank control plate and stock Fender MIM pickups: $200. (add $25 for a loaded plate)
Body plus stock bridge, blank control plate and stock SQUIRE single pickups: $175. (The Squires are bright and punchy!)
Neck, Maple with Rosewood. Frets are in EXCELLENT condition.
Replaced the truss rod nut. Works fine.
Neck shipped with tuners: $150. (includes upgraded Hipshot 4 string retainer! MUCH better than the stock 3 string stock retainer)

I ship smaller packages like this USPS, items are shipped usually within 24 hours payment is received. I accept PayPal, or personal checks. Transactions paid with personal checks are subject to a shipping hold until funds clear the bank.
