So I haven't had much interest in my bass as the whole shebang so I figured I might have more luck if I part it out. Its a shame though since the bass itself is awesome. Fortunately I'm more in need of money than sentimentality.
Prices are as follows:
Warmoth Neck $190 shipped.
Its bubinga and ebony and has been defretted and epoxied. Minor epoxy wear that you could buff out. It took me two years of playing rounds to do it.
Tung oil finish on the back of the neck, nitro on top. Flying monkey decal that looks like it could come off easy. New bone nut set up for fretless. Super stable and never adjusted it.
EDIT: I used tung oil last night for a chess board I made. Thats not what I used on the neck. Its an oil finish though, I just can't remember the name of it! I might have used the gun stock oil from my cleaning/conditioning kit on it. Or danish oil? How many oils are there?! It feels like my EBMM with the oil finished neck.
Normally this neck would cost you more than $300 from them. Taking into account the defret and everything I'm going to ask $190 shipped. I'll leave the neck loaded with tuners, ferrules, string tree, etc etc for
$220 shipped. Fender RI tuners $50 shipped
Works great, no issues. Old style fender tuners.
Fender Claw Bridge $100 shipped
Pretty rare Fender bridge. High mass bridge, weighs a ton, and I've never seen anything more solid. Extremely comfy to rest your hand on too. Semi loaded Jazz style body $200 shipped
Made by Carmine street guitars in Manhattan. Featherweight jazz body routed for P/J with a rear mounted control cavity. Its an ash body, stained mahogany, and finished in nitro. It was made from 130 year old seasoned ash. Super nice body. Some play wear on this, particularly around the edges. Its not terrible though. Price includes everything on the body but the bridge and pickups. CTS pots, cloth wiring, blah blah blah.
With bridge $280
With pickups $330
With pickups and bridge $400 Nordstand NPJ4SE pickups $130
Pickups! What else is there to say about them? They work fine, covers are in pretty good shape.
