It's 3" wide, and extends to about 57". I'm assuming it's older, because some of the stitching has come off and the leather (or vinyl) backing has a few tears that I covered with some leftover pedal velcro pieces. Anyway, I figured a Peavey guy would probably like to have this for his T-40, and I have enough straps without it.
