I just replaced these with EMGs. They came out of a Spear bass. They sound very good...to put it in perspective, the bass new costs around $270. The P/J pickups sound organic...fender-like and the MM has a bit more grit.
Pups look good and sound good. There is a tiny scratch on the MM pup but is barely noticeable. Also, I took the foam padding off of the back of them. New screws will be included with all of them. The pics give the silver spots on the pups a bronze like color, but they are SILVER just like a Fender pickup. These don't have names on them so I am not sure who makes them...I will say that I can't tell a lot of difference between these and the EMG's except the EMGs are crisper on higher frequencies.
