I just bought these for a project that ended up flopping. I never installed them, but I did start to remove the cloth wire covering, which is why it is frayed. I did not, however, cut any of the wire. These pickups are widely praised. I have a friend who put a J set in his '74 Jazz and they sound awesome. 2-band (4 pot) preamp with battery clip
This was for another failed project. It originally came from a Schecter Stiletto Deluxe bass that had EMG-HZ (passive) pickups so it should work in any passive bass. Four pots - volume, blend, treble, and bass. Should work on a bass with or without a pickguard. I never installed it. Battery clip included but not wired. No jack wired on either, but I can throw in a standard jack if you need one. This is a fairly small preamp which would be good for a tight control cavity.

Brass nut blank
I bought this brass nut blank a couple years ago and never used it. I believe it's intended for a Precision bass. It's never been installed or cut in any way. The retailer described it as "Flat Fender Style - flat bottom nut slots. 1/8" thick x 1/4" high x 1-11/16" long." Sorry for the fuzzy picture. $5 shipped. SOLD 
D'Addario 5-string long-scale set
I found a pack of D'Addario strings. I opened the packaging, thinking it was a 4-string set. Then I realized there was an extra string. I must have bought a 5-string set a while back. I hardly ever play 5-string, so these aren't doing me any good. The strings are brand new, never installed or even uncoiled. The box is included, but I threw away the individual string packages. These are XL ProSteels - "Super Bright roundwound - regular light gauge" (45-65-80-100-130).
