Practically brand new SKB Roto Shallow 3 space rack

I got this a few weeks ago, it was sitting it my room and then I took it over to my friends house for practice and I left it there, so I need money for a rack for my SVTII since its a four space and it is huge.

I am asking $60, it will come with the rack, the bag full of clips and screws, the lids, the original box, the warranty cards.

Save some money.

may have made an expensive, ( $60. ) mistake dealing with Ampeg SVT here, ( as i didn't check out his profile before hand, & found out he's only 15 )

i sent him a money order as he stated in the original post, " MO only "

then a week later i get a pm from him asking me if i have any ideas how he can cash a money order without having to open up an account anywhere

it's like,, you don't have a checking or savings account anywhere ? ( that's when i check out his profile & find out he's only 15 )

so today he pm's me & says he's sending back the money order,,, sorry for the inconvienience

i need help here guys,,, what would you do if you were burned here on TB ?

if you are getting back the money order, you didn't really get burned. he could have cashed it and said the ef with you.

LOL I say sut the kid a break. he's only 15. It's not like he stole your money. you are getting it back. Life is too short to fret over $60 you are getting back. I am sure the kid learned enough from his mistake. he doesn't need a neg for it.

it's not like it's a check tho,, i had to actually drive down & purchase this money order & send it out,,,

now it's got his name as the endorsee on it,, & i'll have to drive down again & figure out some way to get my funds back out of it,,, if it can even be done at all,,, & how much extra is that gonna cost

If it's a postal money order, you can cash it at any post office free of charge.

he should have said postal mo only. And if it is a postal money order you can go cash it back out yourself if you have it in hand and explain what happened. But if it's a postal MO then he doesn't need any account to cash it, just photo ID to cash it at the post office.

If you have a MO receipt you should be able to cancel it.

Late last year, I bought a MM Sterling from a young man from Gig Harbour. I am pretty sure this is the same young man. I met both him and his mother. He was buying and flipping bass guitars. I was impressed with both him and his mother - they sure seemed like very good quality people. Give him a few more days, I am sure all will work out ok.
