Hello all I was very fortunate to buy this neck a while ago and am still exited every time I see it,however that's all I've done,I I bought this to replace the neck on my eb ray to really have a classic , though after selling my bongo I feel ive shamed the eb gods enough so I really don't want to drill any new holes in either this beautiful neck or my ray body....
So here is for ur consideration a musicman 77 stingray neck,I've tooken a lot of pics so all I can say iss this neck is a great example of mm quality,the frets are in great condition ,the truss bullet nut is still great and workable and fits an allen key perfect, straight as can be as far as I can tell,Nut is still good ,some minor indentations,no chips, cracks or dents ,Logo is still beautiful with no signs of wear.
This is probably the oldest piece of gear I've had my hands on but still one of the better pieces in terms of condition.Though the tuners aren't original I'm very glad I've owned this the time I did,but I know there's a restoration project in need of this.
I have never dealed with vintage stuff earlier than the 80s, I tried to look arount for a decent price for this ,but in the end, I would not regret this at all letting it go at $700 shipped in the conus.
