Precision Bodies, 1975 routed and blue generic

Sign in to disble this ad
I'm feeling proactive(clear skin?) about getting some of this clutter out of my very small music room.

First, both TB finds, I think I paid $50 for the body and $25 for the Fender Anodized PG, so $75 for both shipped, they make a nice team:
SOLD

Second, a Musicman routed '75 Ash that I think was somewhere around $200 after shipping, anyway I want $200 shipped. That PG is not for sale.

There's really nothing else to see damage-wise that isn't shown on the fronts. Oh and I have the original '75 strap buttons too.

PG's not available without bodies, sorry.
Hit me up with trades on EMAIL. Not for more parts, please, no more parts. Effects are cool.

Oh, and heck while I'm at it, I can throw in a new condition chrome MIM-style bridge with screws, installed with ground if you want, for $10 extra to either body. Or a 7-screw black bridge in slightly used condition for the blue body at the same price.

Do you happen to know what wood the blue body is made out of? Thanks!

Weight in lbs: Ash is 6.0 and Blue is 4.8
I have no idea about the wood. Looked over the bodies again and there are a few dings on the back and side but nothing major, I can send photos if email'd.

Don't feel like pulling the pickup out of my Stingray to find out. I never actually used electronics on that body. I had a neck and strings and bridge on at one point for awhile but sold the neck to someone.

Oh, it's not filled. Might need a little more work to make a pickup fit under the strings(?) or it might fit as is, don't know...

Answers...

I can answer some of the questions about the body, it was mine.

I did have it loaded up with standard American P electronics and it's matching 75 fretless maple neck, as well as both rosewood and maple board modern American P necks on it.

It sounded awesome. Vintage warmth with some aggression to it. Very very solid, even tone with all necks.

Hope that helps,

A
