Nordstrand bass preamp 3b-4a; two pickup 4 knob configuration; pre-wired.
Very natural sounding preamp with treble, midrange and bass boost and cut.
Volume/Volume stack knob, passive tone (pull to bypass preamp), midrange (with pull to shift frequency select, treble/bass stack knob.

This one was installed in one of my basses and developed a scratchy mid potentiometer. Price includes a new midrange potentiometer.

yes. pull the passive tone knob up to bypass the preamp.

the box it came in says 3b-4a
i've modified the first post to reflect correct knob layout (been a while since i'd used it, sorry);
i was wrong the first time.

yessir; that's what the passive tone control does, just like a p-bass or whatev.
