It offers 15 dB of clean boost, and it buffers the signal going through whether the boost is engaged or not, so it is great for keeping your longer cable runs or long fx pedal chains sounding clear and strong at the amp. It also features a "drag" control, which lowers the input impedance. This is mostly useful for guitarists though. The pedal runs on normal Boss-type 9VDC power.
They go for $130 new, and this one is in excellent condition, so how about I ask $80 shipped.
