I bought this a few months ago. I was trying give my '73 Precision more of a vintage look....the guard it came with was black. It's a nice, high quality guard, but it was a little too red for me.
It is a WD pickguard and I purchased it brand new. As I mentioned, it was only on my bass a couple of months and it has only left my house once....so it's almost like new.
It is a beautiful red tort and it fits my '73/'74 Precision perfectly....although I think it should fit most MIA Precisions. It has holes for the thumb rest (mounted on the E string side) and holes for a pick up cover.
