Best DI for this price range. Very transparent & good headroom. I got a lot of complement from engineers.
Had less than 10 gigs. couple scratches.
Bought NOS so box is little worn but DI was prinstine.

$150 shipped to lower 48 & paypal.

What makes this box better than my Countryman--beside the polarity switch?

One gig, there was countryman that I did soundcheck & rehearsal with it then I change DI to J48.
A engineer said to me, 'man it is louder & seems work more good with bass than countryman. I had to lower the vol. & sounds great.'
That was what I got. Maybe that's for him.

I don't think the Countryman is bad but I just went through A/B/C -ing a ton of DI's and I thought the Countryman colored things just a little.
