Sadowsky Blues stainless steel (5 string)
 

Dang it. I got a new bass recently and am going through the inevitable search for its perfect strings. Sadly, Sadowsky Blues, which felt great on another bass of mine, feel super weird on this one. The top four strings feel great, but the B just doesn't sit right on my bass. Ugghh! If someone wants to trade, that's fine, or if you just want to buy them I'll sell them for $20 including shipping. I literally just strung them up, so they're brand new except for being clipped. They're on a 34", in case you're worried about them being clipped too close. The headstock configuration is 3+2 with the 2 being the low strings.

Is it because the B string is tapered? Did you make the height adjustment at the B string bridge saddle?

Ah ha! No! I didn't realize height adjustment was required for a tapered string! Do tell...

I still think I'm going to sell, they felt very tight, which at one point in my life I would've loved, but I'm tending more towards flexible strings like Circle K's now.
