For Sale: Brand New SX Short Scale Jazz Neck - Old Headstock

Sign in to disble this ad
This is a brand new SX neck...it has not even been drilled for neck screws or tuner screws. I picked it up for a project that I can't complete.

I have been tempted to keep it around just because it has the "old" headstock design, but I need to move some things.

$65 Paypal/CONUS. For an extra $5 I will include a brand new set of matching SX tuners.

One last, showing the SX wrapping paper.

I noticed when posting the pics there was some white powdery stuff in the tuner holes, apparently some type of dry lubricant for drilling. It comes right off.

Sorry, no maple board, but in completely unused condition.

Even without installing this neck, I can tell it is a sweet one, and the old style headstock makes it a "must have" for any SX fan. (Apologies to SX, but the new design just doesn't do anything for me.)

I know somebody wants this neck.

The tuners are brand new and unused also, and come complete with ferrules and screws...everything you need to get started. I might even be able to find a neck plate and screws around here someplace.

I would prefer a sale. But, as seems to be the case with most folks on TalkBass, I can't resist at least considering trades.
