Schaller Dual J pickups for sale - Used in old Aluminum Neck Kramers
Still cleaning out the parts chest. I have 4 of these pickups available. They have never been installed in a bass. They are basically 2 J-bass pickups in a humbucking case. The basic design of Schaller J pickups are similar to DiMarzio in that a single J pickup is actually a humbucker in that there is a coil for the E and A strings and a coil for the D and G strings. These have 8 conductor wiring and can be wired in many different ways. They are made in Germany and sound great. I have a Kramer with one in it and it sounds good. Sound is similar to a pair of DiMarzio Model J's. Please note that these are 20 plus years old and have some scuffs from being in drawer. But work fine and would work perfect in a restoration project or a new build. These are increasingly difficult to locate since they are no longer made unfortunately.

*edit* Let me add that the dimensions are approximately 3 5/8" long by 1 7/16" wide not including the "ears". With the "ears" they are 1 7/8" wide. Mounting holes are 1 1/2" apart. *end of edit*

Price: $27.50 each including shipping/insurance in lower 48.

If your interested in them, PM me. Thanks for looking.

As one who is familiar with these pickups, I will add that they are great sounding for any 4 string project. With a three-way switch, they can be wired series/split/parallel and produce all sorts of sounds. I have a couple of project basses with two of these in them, and a 3 way connected to each pickup. Tons of sounds!
